  • Approximately 20% of Americans agree with Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s call for a “national divorce,” a recent survey revealed.
  • “We need a national divorce,” she wrote in a Tweet. “We need to separate by red states and blue states and shrink the federal government. Everyone I talk to says this. From the sick and disgusting woke culture issues shoved down our throats to the Democrat’s [sic] traitorous America Last policies, we are done.”
  • Amid mounting partisan tensions in the U.S., her proposal appears to resonate with some Americans. In an Ipsos poll released last week, 20% of U.S. adults indicatedsupport for the idea, according to the Daily Mail.
