21 GOP Governors Join Fight To Oppose Military Covid Vaccine Mandate

  • A group of 21 Republican governors on Wednesday sent a letter to congressional leaders calling on them to prohibit President Joe Biden from issuing a “COVID-19 vaccine mandate” for military members.
  • The governors argue that “the Biden vaccine mandate on our military creates a national security risk that severely impacts our defense capabilities abroad and our state readiness here at home.”
  • “As President Biden, himself, stated on September 18, 2022, ‘The pandemic is over,'” the letter concluded.
