88 Abortion Providers Close in 2022; 14 States ‘Abortion-Free’

- “The falling number of abortion facilities translates into lives saved,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “We celebrate those saved babies, closed clinics, and new Abortion-Free states – something we haven’t seen since 1973 when Roe was first imposed on our nation.”
- Sixteen of the closed abortion providers were Planned Parenthood locations, according to the report.
- Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin, and West Virginia are considered abortion-free as now abortion providers operate in these states.
