- Sayreville Borough GOP Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour was fatally shot Feb. 1 in her car, outside her home, authorities say.
- Witnesses have previously said the heard at least a half-dozen gunshots.
- In the audio tapes released Monday to Fox News Digital, the two witnesses who describe the black-clad gunman also say he fled on foot.
- “I saw a man shooting into the driver’s side of a white vehicle three times, and then he ran away,” a caller can be heard telling the dispatcher.
- The descriptions of the events at about 7:25 p.m. are similar to the images on surveillance video, which shows a figure running near the scene at 7:31 p.m., just minutes after nine 911 callers reported a shooting outside of the 30-year-old Dwumfour’s home.
