An elderly Australian woman, Clare Nowland, who suffers from dementia, was urgently transported to the hospital after being tased by the police within her aged care facility.
The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon at Yallambee Lodge in Cooma, Australia.
It is believed that the 95-year-old woman was discovered holding a knife, prompting a call to the police. According to reports, law enforcement officers encountered difficulties in disarming her, leading them to utilize a Taser.
