Abortion Rights Measure To Be Added To Michigan Ballot

  • The Michigan Board of Canvassers voted unanimously on Friday morning to place an abortion-rights proposal on the November 8 ballot.
  • The Board of Canvassers obeyed a Thursday order from the Michigan Supreme Court which said the board must put the proposal on the ballot.
  • That decision came one week after the board deadlocked on approving the ballot measure, citing grammar and spacing errors.
