- Golden Hills Elementary School in Tehachapi, California will be hosting an “After School Satan Club,” sponsored by the Satanic Temple and Reason Alliance.
- In a statement, the Tehachapi Unified School District said that according to the law they cannot discriminate against groups wanting to use their facilities based on a viewpoint and that the Satan Club is not a District approved club.
- Paul Hicks, a critical thinking professor who will be leading the Satan Club said Christian-based clubs like the Good News Club is one of the reasons why he believes schools need the Satan Club.
