Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., was confronted by hecklers during a town hall Q&A who told her she was “playing” with American lives by supporting aid for Ukraine.
Ocasio-Cortez participated in a sparsely attended town hall in the Bronx, New York, Wednesday when a pair of protesters interrupted the event to protest the congresswoman’s support of sending weapons to Ukraine.
“There will be no neighbors if there’s a nuclear bomb,” one protestor said. “You voted to mobilize and send money to Ukrainian Nazis. You’re a coward. Are you a progressive socialist? Where are you against the war mobilization?”
