Arizona AG Orders Maricopa County To Explain Election Delays, Malfunctions
The request from the Elections Integrity Unit in the office or Arizona GOP Attorney General's Office Mark Brnovich follows complaints about alleged impropriates in 2022 midterm election balloting.

- The letter was sent to Maricopa County Attorney Thomas Liddy’s office.
- Maricopa includes Phoenix and is Arizona’s largest county.
- Among the concerns raised in the letter are at least 60 voting locations having had problems with some ballot-on-demand printers because of improper settings.
- Another reported concern is Election Day “check-out” procedures: Voters who allegedly had trouble casting their vote at one polling station were allegedly told they couldn’t “check out” and go to different one, an issuing being attributed to poorly trained poll workers.
