- A new voter survey shows that Democrats are losing support among Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities.
- On the generic ballot, AAPI support for Democrats dropped 5 percent, from 56 percent to 51 percent. Republicans gained 2 percent, from 34 percent to 36 percent.
- A similar 7-point swing happened during former President Trump’s term, meaning there has been a 14-point AAPI swing toward Republicans in the past six years.
- The survey was conducted by Garin-Hart-Yang Research for a coalition of left-wing groups.
