FILE - President Joe Biden departs after speaking about the October jobs report from the State Dining Room of the White House, Nov. 5, 2021, in Washington. As President Joe Biden wraps up his first year in the White House, he has held fewer news conferences than any of  his five immediate predecessors at the same point in their presidencies, and has taken part in fewer media interviews than any of his recent predecessors. • Axios CEO Jim VandeHei and Politico editor in chief Matt Kaminski got into a heated confrontation following the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
  • VandeHei reportedly was at Politico, which he also cofounded but left on bad terms, for running what he called a “snarky, cynical, and inaccurate” profile of him.
  • VandeHei wrote that he put down his drink, got up in Kaminski’s face, blasted his “bullish*t” profile and boasted that he had poached two writers from Politico’s staff.
