AZ County Fires Elections Director After Primary Debacle

Pinal County Was Short On Ballots, May Have Disenfranchised Voters

  • Pinal County election director David Frisk was canned after myriad problems during the Aug. 2 primary.
  • The RNC and AZ GOP condemned the “comprehensive failure” of the primary election and called for Frisk to resign.
  • Virginia Ross, the county’s new election director, oversaw elections in  2014 and 2016.
