Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco aren’t shy when it comes to their relationship. The couple have flaunted plenty of PDA-filled photos, and even spoken publicly about getting married and growing their family, despite having dated for a little over a year. So, it was quite the surprise when Blanco didn’t accompany Gomez on the red carpet at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards.
Instead, the Only Murders in The Building actor walked the red carpet at Los Angeles’s Peacock Theater solo. She did so with grace and style, however, wearing an elegant Ralph Lauren gown.
Though Blanco was not pictured with Gomez, he was supporting her from the sidelines.
In footage captured by E! News, he could be seen trailing behind the star while wearing a black bejeweled tuxedo.
This year’s awards show marks a big night for the actor: Not only did she receive her first acting nomination for her role as Mabel Mora in Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building, but she also earned her third producing nomination for the series, making her the most nominated Latina producer.
Gomez recently shared that her relationship with Blanco has been unlike any other. “I’ve never been loved this way,” she said in her cover story for Vanity Fair. “He’s just been a light. A complete light in my life. He’s my best friend. I love telling him everything.”
