- On CNN’s State Of The Union, Sen. Bernie Sanders hinted that he may support a potential challenge to Democrat-turned-Independent Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema.
- “I don’t know what’s going to be happening in Arizona. We will see who they nominate. But certainly, that’s something I will take a hard look at,” he said when asked if he’d be campaigning for any Arizona Democrats who have expressed interest in challenging Sinema next election cycle.
- “She is a corporate Democrat who has, in fact, along with Senator Manchin, sabotaged enormously important legislation,” he said.
