Bezos ‘Snubbed” In Auction To Buy Washington Commanders For $7 Billion

  • Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos has reportedly been given the cold shoulder from the Washington Commanders’ private auction – despite current owner Dan Synder not receiving any new bids remotely close to his $7billion valuation before the deadline.
  • Snyder announced at the end of last year that he is exploring the possibility of selling the embattled team, in the wake of inquiries into sexual harassment, hostile workplace and fraud.
  • It was reported in the aftermath that Snyder values the franchise at around $7billion, and a deadline was set for this week for potential bidders to come forward in a private auction.
