- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is returning to power after his coalition won last month’s election, was a close ally of former President Donald Trump.
- Netanyahu, however, said he has no plans to endorse Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.
- Netanyahu acknowledged that Trump “did great things for Israel,” but said he will not get involved in the 2024 campaign.
- “I’ll deal with anyone (elected in 2024), and I certainly will not step on that landmine that you just put before me,” Netanyahu said.
