Biden Begged Saudis To Delay Oil Cuts Until Election: Report

  • Biden administration officials begged Saudi Arabia to delay oil production cuts until days before the election in hopes American consumers wouldn’t feel the impact in higher prices.
  • OPEC+ announced on Oct. 5 it would cut crude oil production by 2 million barrels per day.
  • The Wall Street Journal said that before that cut was announced, Biden aides begged the Saudis to delay the decision until November.
