- A Friday announcement by the Pentagon said a Chinese spy balloon will continue to hover above the United States for the “next few days” after it was found surveilling U.S. nuclear silos in Montana.
- U.S. defense officials have admitted that the Chinese balloon is a surveillance tool intentionally launched by the Chinese Community Party.
- Despite the ongoing national security breach, President Joe Biden plans to attend a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in Philadelphia this evening along with the Vice President before spending the weekend at his home in Wilmington, Delaware.
