- As if we’re not inundated with enough advertising, now marketers are looking toward the final frontier to deliver their pitches to consumers.
- Scientists say billboards in outer space are not only feasible, but potentially highly lucrative. The billboard would consist of a collection of 50 satellites, beaming advertisements.
- According to researchers, the project would cost about $65 million, but could generate huge revenues because of the audience space-based ads could generate.
- The idea would be for the space billboards to remain in orbit for three-month periods, displaying 24 different images in that time and generating up to $111 million in net income during that time.
