- According to Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz, over 10,000 undocumented migrants were apprehended by agents on the U.S.-Mexico border in a 48-hour period this week.
- Chief Ortiz shared statistics on the encounters via Twitter, revealing that agents made roughly 10,070 apprehensions, including five sex offenders, four individuals with warrants, and one gang member.
- In addition, agents seized drugs, money, firearms, and stolen vehicles, as well as fentanyl, ecstasy, meth, and cocaine.
