- Ben Savage of “Boy Meets World” fame has announced a bid for U.S. Congress.
- Savage will run in California’s 30th Congressional District. Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff, who currently occupies that seat, announced a U.S. Senate bid earlier this year.
- “I am a proud Californian, union member and longtime resident of District 30 who comes from a family of unwavering service to our country and community,” Savage wrote in an Instagram post.
