- Former “Boy Meets World” sitcom star Ben Savage will run for U.S. Congress.
- “According to paperwork filed with the Federal Election Commission Wednesday, Savage’s run as a Democrat will be in California’s 30th District seat, currently held by Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Burbank,” reports the New York Post.
- The 42-year-old actor previously launched an unsuccessful bid for a seat on the West Hollywood City Council, saying then that “people have become disappointed with the direction the city is heading.”
