• Mississippi State football coach Mike Leach died Monday night as the result of complications from a heart condition, the school announced. He was 61.
• Leach suffered what the university termed a “personal health issue” Sunday and was rushed to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
• Leach was in his third season at Mississippi State.
