In a confession penned in his notebook, Brian Laundrie admitted killing girlfriend Gabby Petito at a Wisconsin campsite.

  • Laundrie: “I thought it was merciful, that it is what she wanted, but I see now all the mistakes I made. I panicked. I was in shock.”
  • The August 2021 killing captured the nation’s attention.
  • Laundrie later committed suicide in Florida.
