• Former President Obama took some shots at his fellow Democrats on Friday, saying they’re sometimes buzzkills with their cancel culture mentality and rhetoric.
• Obama made the comment on the Pod Save America podcast, run by a some former advisers.
• “My family, my kids, work that gives me satisfaction, having fun,” Obama said. “Hell, not being a buzzkill. And sometimes Democrats are. … Sometimes people just want to not feel as if they are walking on eggshells.”
• The former president will in the closing weeks of the midterm election cycle campaign in Georgia and Wisconsin for fellow Democrats seeking reelection.
