The Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee said Saturday night the GOP convention scheduled to begin Monday in Milwaukee will “proceed” after the assassination attempt on Donald Trump, the party’s presumptive presidential nominee.
The campaign also said Trump looks forward to joining, according to the Associated Press.
Trump said a bullet pierced the top part of his right ear.
