Clearly looking to capitalize on Fox News’ recent legal problems, transgender activists in Canada have been petitioning and lobbying the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission to ban Fox News.
The organization, dubbed Egal, cited remarks by former Fox News star Tucker Carlson, who was fired recently for unspecified reasons.
The CRTC is taking comments from the public based on the complaint from the LGBTQ rights group and ultimately will make a decision on Fox News’ future in Canada.
