Five Chicago gay bars are participating in a boycott of Anheuser-Busch beer products after the company’s CEO disavowed transgender TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney.
The beer brand has seen a decline in sales since the controversial ad campaign with Mulvaney, who has been accused of depicting womanhood in a degrading way in his “Days of Girlhood” videos on social media.
Some of Mulvaney’s videos promoting Bud Light have been posted on social media, and the company even sent him a customized beer can to mark his “365 Days of Girlhood.”
