According to a new poll from CBS News, the vast majority of Republican voters, almost nine-in-10, expressed approval for the recent busing and flying of asylum seekers from southern states to northern areas.
When asked if they approve or disapprove of “Republican governors sending migrants to Democratic areas,” voters were split along partisan lines.
Voters were also divided over the importance of immigration in the upcoming midterm elections, with Republicans far more likely to rate it as an essential issue than Democrats or independents.
