Chicago Alderman Accidentally Shoots Himself While Cleaning Gun

• Chicago Alderman Derrick Curtis accidentally shot himself in the left wrist while cleaning a gun.
• Curtis, who represents the Southwest Side, said he was helping a neighbor clean a gun that was malfunctioning. He said he received minor surgery and was “doing well.”
