Clinton Pollster: ‘No Question’ Biden Racing To Clean Up Border Chaos Before ’24 Bid

EL PASO, TEXAS - DECEMBER 22: Immigrants warm to a fire at dawn after spending the night outside next to the U.S.-Mexico border fence on December 22, 2022 in El Paso, Texas. A spike in the number of migrants seeking asylum in the United States has challenged local, state and federal authorities. The numbers are expected to increase as the fate of the Title 42 authority to expel migrants remains in limbo pending a Supreme Court decision expected after Christmas. Pollster Mark Penn, who worked for former President Bill Clinton, claims that President Biden is scrambling to address the southern border chaos ahead of the 2024 election.

“People are pouring through the border and I think the American public knows that,” Penn told Fox News. “That’s why there’s about a 60% disapproval of the administration’s policy. It’s why it’s after the economy, the number one issue.”

A huge migrant surge is expected starting May 11 with the end of Title 42, a public-health measure used by the Trump administration to expel illegal immigrants.
