A CNBC anchor alleged Monday that NBCUniversal CEO Jeff Shell sexual harassed her – a day after the media company said it had conclude an investigation into allegations Shell had been involved in an “inappropriate relationship” and that he was no longer employed. An attorney for CNBC International anchor Hadley Gamble told news outlets about the allegations made by her client, including that Shell had also sexually discriminated against her. However, it’s unclear whether the allegations were the focus on the international investigation or why Shell was essential forced to resign. NBCUniversal’s parent company Comcast said in a securities filing Monday the company received a complaint that Shell engaged in “inappropriate conduct with a female employee” and that the investigation by outside counsel found evidence that “corroborated the allegations.” Click to read full article
