CNN’s Tapper A Distant Third In Primetime Debut

  • CNN’s latest bid to improve its ratings met the same fate as previous efforts: It flopped.
  • Jake Tapper moved into the 9 p.m. Eastern time slot this week and, predictably, got hammered by Fox News’ Sean Hannity, whose audience was three times larger than Tapper’s.
  • Even MSNBC’s Alex Wagner, with 1.59 million viewers, had nearly twice the audience of the third-place Tapper.
