Congress Introduces Bipartisan Bill To BAN TikTok

- A bipartisan bill to ban China-owned TikTok from operating in the United States was introduced in Congress by a trio comprised of two Republicans and a Democrat.
- FL Senator Marco Rubio introduced the Senate version of the bill, while the House version was introduced by Reps. Mike Gallagher (R-WI) and Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL).
- “We know it’s used to manipulate feeds and influence elections. We know it answers to the People’s Republic of China. There is no more time to waste on meaningless negotiations with a CCP-puppet company. It is time to ban Beijing-controlled TikTok for good,” said Rubio.
