- TX Rep. Dan Crenshaw has apologized for controversial comments calling the 20 McCarthy House Speaker holdouts “terrorists.”
- “So now we’re now we’re saying we won’t vote for anyone but McCarthy. That’s why we’re saying it because we cannot let the terrorists win. That’s basically what’s happening,” Crenshaw said last week during a Fox News Radio interview.
- Now, Crenshaw is cleaning up. “Things get heated, and things get said. Obviously, to the people who took offense by that, it’s pretty obvious it’s meant as a turn of phrase,” he told Jake Tapper on CNN.
