Crime in Washington is reaching well into nice neighborhoods, turning the city into a haven for robberies, car jackings and shootings.
The police chief just quit and the mayor, newly reelected, seems to have no answers.
It’s exhausting for those in the city and visitors are shifting their plans to go elsewhere.
One bar owner said he’s been robbed three times in a month. “We’re just asking to be safe,” he said in this story from WJLA.
