David Crosby of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young Has Died

- Crosby died Thursday.
- “It is with great sadness after a long illness, that our beloved David (Croz) Crosby has passed away,” his wife told Variety magazine. “He was lovingly surrounded by his wife and soulmate Jan and son Django. … “His legacy will continue to live on through his legendary music.”
- Crosby, born in Los Angeles, also was a member of The Byrds, which he founded in 1964 and that a year later had a No. 1 hit with a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Mr. Tambourine Man.”
