Delaware Trucker Gets 19 Years In Whitmer Kidnapping Plot

  • Barry Croft Jr., a Delaware trucker who prosecutors say was a co-leader in the plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, was sentenced Wednesday to more than 19 years behind bars.
  • Croft received the longest sentence of any of the defendants in the conspiracy, The Associated Press reported. Co-leader Adam Fox was sentenced to 16 years in prison on Wednesday.
  • Three men earlier this month were sentenced to prison for assisting in the plot.
