- These sites tend to have nonpartisan names, such as the Milwaukee Metro Times, but spread political content biased toward Democrats, and mix it with sports and other local news.
- A one-year-old Florida-based company, Local Report, appears to operate the sites. Local Report appears to be getting pro-Democrat content from American Independent, a progressive media company owned by investment firm True Blue Media, which is affiliated with Hillary Clinton.
