Desperate Dems Consider VP Harris, Clinton As 2024 Joe Replacements

- Vice President Kamala Harris and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stand among the top contenders to replace President Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee in 2024 should he not seek reelection.
- In a recent Premise poll, Harris topped the field in a hypothetical Democratic primary without Biden, earning 32 percent support. Clinton trailed as a distant second with 20 percent. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and California Gov. Gavin Newsom tied for third with 9 percent each. Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez rounded out the top five with 8 percent.
