• In 1987, Carson completed the first and only successful separation of conjoined twins who were connected at the back of the head.
• So why does the Detroit School Board have a problem with him? Because he was Secretary of Housing and Urban Development for former President Donald Trump.
• For that reason, the Detroit Public Schools Community District is attempting to remove his name from the Benjamin Carson High School of Medicine and Science.
