  • The DHS’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) announced that it officially halted its “Misinformation, Disinformation and Malinformation” (MDM) advisory subcommittee, according to a March 24 Racket News report by Twitter Files journalist Matt Taibbi and investigative reporter Susan Schmidt.
  • The subcommittee was led by Vijaya Gadde, the embattled Twitter executive who purged the Hunter Biden laptop scandal from Twitter and approved banning Trump from the platform, along with Kate Starbird, chairwoman of the University of Washington’s “Center for an Informed Public.”
  • “With the exposure of numerous anti-free speech scandals and immense scrutiny pounding on the doors of Big Tech and the Biden White House, could it be that this wind down is a sort of tacit admission of wrongdoing?” asked MRC Free Speech America & MRC Business Director Michael Morris. “One thing is for sure, it appears sunlight continues to be the best disinfectant, both in combating microbial infections and invasive, tyrannical government.”
