DOJ Says At Least 1,000 Americans Arrested In Jan. 6 Capitol Breach

  • The Department of Justice said on Monday that at least 1,000 people have been arrested on charges related to the Jan. 6, 2021 U.S. Capitol breach.
  • Approximately 518 people have pled guilty to federal crimes.
  • About one-third of defendants have been charged with assaulting, resisting or impeding police.
