• Jeff Zucker, former chairman of WarnerMedia news and sports and CNN worldwide president, is in talks to lead a $1bn (€1.01bn) investment fund for RedBird Capital Partners’ chief executive and managing partner Gerry Cardinale, as reported by The Ankler.
• Zucker, who left CNN and WarnerMedia in early 2022 prior to the formation of Warner Bros. Discovery, oversaw Turner Sports as part of his duties and is a noted sports fan.
