• Police confirmed reports of an explosion in Seattle, Washington, on Wednesday.
• The explosion occurred at around 9:30 am, the Seattle Police Department said. Crews evacuated the building in which the explosion occurred in the basement. No active fire was found at the scene. A Hazmat crew is also responding.
• Police told KOMO News that officials are working to diffuse a “device” that was found on scene.
