- Police in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Monday said the have arrested a failed state Legislature candidate in connection with shootings at locations associated with Democrat leaders.
- The suspect as been identified as Solomon Pena, a Republican, who is accused of conspiring with and paying four men to carry out separate shooting at the homes of two Bernalillo County commissioners and two state legislators.
- Two other shootings previously thought to be linked to the case have so far not been connected to Pena.
- Last week police announced the arrest of another suspect in the case, but on described Pena as the “mastermind” of the shootings.
