• While D.C. is home to what some would call the most beautiful and majestic buildings in the country like the Lincoln Memorial and the Capitol, it is also home to some of the ugliest in the country, according to a new survey.
• According to the survey conducted by home improvement company, Buildworld, the J. Edgar Hoover Building is the top eye-sore building in the U.S. The FBI headquarters was designed and built in the late ’60s and early ’70s. The disjointed building with the drab concrete façade stands out on Pennsylvania Avenue, blocks from the White House.
