- The FBI wants its agents to put on their happy faces, and that’s not sitting well with former agents.
- These former agents have criticized the FBI for scheduling a “Happiness Seminar” May 30 when they said the agents should be spending their time solving crimes rather than worrying about their smiles. Seminar attendees have been told they will “discover the power of smiling.”
- The seminar’s three parts will address “the effects of smiling,” “the effects of speaking good words” and “the effects of doing good deeds,” according to Steve Friend, an ex-FBI agent who tweeted about the seminar.
