Firebomb Thrown At New Jersey Synagogue

The incident occurred early Sunday morning in the state's Essex County.

  • Authorities said the firebomb was thrown at the front door of the Temple Ner Tamid in the city of Bloomfield.
  • Bloomfield Police also said the incident at 3:19 a.m. and described the incendiary device as a Molotov cocktail.
  • Police also said the firebomb did not burst into flames and reported no injuries and only minimal damage to the temple.
