• 23-year-old Florida Deputy Austin Walsh was shot and killed by his best friend and roommate – a fellow cop – when he “jokingly” shot at him with a weapon he allegedly believed to be unloaded.
• The roommate and police officer Adam Lawson called 911 but Walsh “succumbed immediately” to the wound.
• Lawson was immediately arrested and charged with manslaughter, according to a video statement from Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey.
